Eneva Presents the Best Offer for the Urucu Cluster

Among the companies that showed interest in the assets in the Solimões Basin, Eneva apparently showed the best offer and should begin the negotiations with current owner Petrobras.

The cluster – which consists of 7 production fields – was put on sale in June 2020, and by the end of that year, there were already offers up to US$ 1 billion. If both companies reach an agreement for the sale, Eneva’s presence will increase substantially on the Solimões Basin, where they already acquired the gas field Juruá on the Second Cycle of Open Acreage.

These assets maintain their position as one of the biggest onshore producers, averaging around 100k boe/day in 2020, mostly gas.
