๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐ข has received the Operating License (LO) from ๐๐๐๐ ๐ for the ๐ช๐ฎ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ, completing the final regulatory step before the first oil.
Last year, in March, ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐ข started a drilling campaign for the development of this asset in the ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป. In total, four wells were drilled, the latest being 7-WAH-4D-ESS, spudded in early January 2026 by the Hunter Queen rig.
๐ช๐ฎ๐ต๐ผ๐ผโs production system was designed as a 35 km subsea tieback to the FPSO Valente, located in the ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ. The unit has a processing capacity of 100,000 barrels of oil per day. Currently, Frade produces approximately 30,000 bopd, while ๐ช๐ฎ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ is expected to add up to 40,000 bopd once fully operational.
