The new Brazilian pre-salt giant will be responsible for the production of the Bacalhau and Bacalhau Norte fields, both operated by ๐๐พ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ, in partnership with ๐๐ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น, ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฝ, and ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ (Prรฉ-Sal Petrรณleo S/A) (Manager of the PSA Contract). Worth mentioning, the Carcarรก prospect had included several companies throughout its history, including ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐, ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐น, ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ (now ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐ฎ), and ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐ฎ.
The platform, constructed by ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐, continues through some preliminary processes, with the first oil expected in 2025. The fields are estimated to have more than 1 billion barrels of reserves and a production capacity of 220,000 barrels per day.
