Alvopetro Announces Promising Assessment Results on Gomo

The company had a successful production test on one of the wells earlier this year and plans to build a drain pipeline for the gas produced. Estimated gas volumes on the blocks REC-T-183 and REC-T-197 could substantially increase their total reserves, with up to 6 million boe (3P). Two additional planned wells (183-B1 and 182-C1) could also represent risked prospective resources of up to 4.7 million boe (best estimate).

A 9 km extension pipeline would connect the well 1-ALV-6D-BA (187-1) to the Caburé Gas Pipeline, which would then transport the gas all the way to Alvopetro’s Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPNG) in Mata de São João.
