In early April, ๐๐๐๐ ๐ approved the seismic research license requested by WesternGeco for a 3D Node acquisition project in the Campos basin, called Sapucaรญ OBNex. According to the projectโs schedule, activities will be conducted in two areas (NORTH and SOUTH), starting in January 2027 and lasting approximately 700 days.
The acquisition area spans more than 35,000 kmยฒ, covering open acreage, exploration blocks, areas under development and mature fields. It also covers Calcita, currently under evaluation, and likely to be included in future bid rounds.
bp, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Petrobras, Petronas, QatarEnergy, Shell, and TotalEnergies own assets included inside the research polygon and could benefit from these products.
