The commerciality of the Murucututu field was declared after successful tests on the well 1-ALV-6D-BA (183-1) earlier this year. This area is located on the block REC-T-183, above the previously mentioned Gomo prospect, which could hold up to 6 million boe (3P) according to the company.
Future production will be transported to the company’s Processing Unit through a new extension pipeline connecting the well 183-1 to the Caburé Gas Pipeline. Construction has already begun and should be completed by the end of this year.
Besides that, Alvopetro also plans to drill two gas prospects in 2021. Those are 182-C1, on the block REC-T-182, and 183-B1, on the block REC-T-183.
