Posted by With the new 377 blocks included, the bid now has 1068 areas across 18 basins with over 462,000 km² – an 87% increase compared to the previous cycle – available for offers. Two new basins were also included: Foz do Amazonas and Parecis, in the state of Mato Grosso.
The areas are categorized between “High Potential”, “Mature” and “New Frontier”, and the minimum bonus ranges from BRL 20,000 to BRL 4,570,000. All of the new blocks are still subject to a public hearing, to be carried out next month.
