The FPSO Cidade de São Vicente produced 191,794 barrels of oil during the months of February and March, originated from the well 3-BRSA-1178D-SES. This production is related to 10 days of operation, reaching an average production of approximately 20,000 barrels of oil per day. The platform returned to production in May, with the data still not published, and the first vessel to do the offloading arrived this week.
The FPSO Cidade de São Vicente has the capacity to store up to 1,000,000 barrels.
Petrobras granted the 120-day extension of the FPSO contract to BW Offshore, with this extension, the new expiration date will be around October 9th, 2020. FPSO Cidade de São Vicente has been in operation since 2009 (Itapu in 2017, Atapu 2015, Sepia 2016, Sururu 2018, Sapinhoá 2013, and Lula 2009) and has a history of successful long-term tests in the Brazilian offshore.
