Early this week, ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ reported hydrocarbon shows in the ๐๐ด๐๐ฎ-๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ต๐ฎ ๐ฏ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ, located in the ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป. Drilling activities began with well ๐ญ-๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐-๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ญ๐-๐ฅ๐๐ฆ on July 8th, carried out by ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ปโs Deepwater Aquila rig. Positive results were later obtained from the re-entry well ๐ญ-๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐-๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐-๐ฅ๐๐ฆ.
The block was acquired by ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ (30%) during the 1st Production Sharing Open Acreage Cycle in 2022 with partners ๐ง๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ถ๐ฒ๐ (30%), ๐ฃ๐๐ง๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐๐ฆ (20%), and ๐ค๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ (20%).
Meanwhile, also in the Campos basin, the ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐/ ๐ฏ๐ฝ consortium is currently drilling wildcat well ๐ญ-๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐-๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ฐ๐-๐ฅ๐๐ฆ in block C-M-477, located just outside the pre-salt polygon. The activities have been carried out by the West Polaris rig since September 23rd.
