𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁

After concluding the completion of Katmai West #2, Seadrill’s West Vela is now onsite to drill Daenerys, a pre-salt Miocene opportunity with a gross resource potential estimated between 100-300 MMboe. 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 and 𝗛𝗘𝗤 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 also hold W.I.

Katmai West #2 was drilled in late October of last year, with successful results being announced in early 2025 and completion operations beginning in April. The area now is estimated to contain up to 200 MMboe. Apart from 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆, 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 is also a partner.
