According to the divestment Teaser released last month, the asset has a VOIP of up to 994 million boe, light oil with API gravity of 42° as well as 4 exploratory wells (3 of them with oil shows on carbonate reservoirs) with plenty of logging, core data and seismic.
The Catuá field originated from the concession BC-60 (Round Zero) and was declared commercial by Petrobras in 2006, never reaching the production development stage ever since. Water depth in the area ranges from 1,700 to 1,950 meters.
