The Northern portion of the Campos basin Production cluster, composed by Albacora Complex, Roncador, and Frade, is currently responsible for over 230k bbl/day.
During September, a 3D PSDM survey processed by Petrobras will become public, enabling an integrated understanding of the field’s reservoirs:
Rocandor – Senonian turbidities / Albian Carbonates
Albacora Complex – Top Cretaceous turbidities/ Pre-Salt Aptian Carbonates
Frade – Oligocene to Miocene Turbidities.
Since 2017 the area has had several farm-in processes. Currently, Petrobras, Equinor, Petrorio, and Repsol are investing in the region.
